Ash Nazir, previously of MeeGoExperts and now a developer evangelist for Europe for RIM, enthuses about the opportunities for Qt developers in 2013: Now that Digia have aquired Qt its all hands on Deck again with all Qt interested parties pulling in the same direction.
Research in Motion (RIM) are releasing their new BlackBerry 10 operating system with new devices on the 30th January 2013 and having used them, they are pretty good JollaMobile will be releasing later in the year with the Sailfish OS as well. This is a great time to port your Qt Apps and start making some real money for your development efforts.
Those interested in porting their Qt apps to BB10 - and potentially getting $10,000 for the task - should investigate. In your editor's experience, it's very similar to developing for Maemo or MeeGo; and a lot of common code should be possible between Mer/Nemo Mobile/Sailfish and BlackBerry.
