In an interesting tidbit on the reasons behind Microsoft wanting to buy Nokia's phone business, Joe Belfiore - the Microsoft corporate vice president in charge of Windows Phone - says the Lumia 800 was a 'move as quickly as you can' to take an excellent -- in my opinion -- current product and repurpose it for a thing that wasn't quite what it was designed for
