Post social network statuses from Harmattan status menu
Mohammad Abu-Garbeyyeh has launched a project, inspired by an iOS6 feature: Quick status updates is a status menu plugin that allows you to post Facebook and Twitter status updates from the status menu (not many statuses there ;-)) Inception or an Open Mode kernel is required to install unrestrictred-system-ui.
MT-Toggles - status menu toggle framework for Harmattan
mohammad7410 has announced another project for the N9(50) status menu: the inclusion of a "toggles" framework, similar to has been seen on Android: MT-Toggles is a toggles platform for Harmattan. After installing it, you can install extra toggles (the base package comes with no toggles) that'll show up in it. Please be cautious with MT-Toggles, the toggles I've provided below have been tested for a week, and they haven't caused any problems, a faulty toggle can segfault the status menu, 3 quick segfaults in a row and you'll get a MALF that you'll have to fix manually, so please, keep backups. [...] You'll need to install actual toggles, some of which require inception/open mode. Inception or an Open Mode kernel is required to install unrestrictred-system-ui.
